Outreach Navarre, Inc. doing business as Weekend Food Program of Navarre is hosting their 3rd annual charity golf tournament fundraiser at The Club at Hidden Creek in Navarre, FL on Friday, October 25th, 2019!.
Weekend Food Program (Weekendfoodprogram.org) provides students from Navarre schools who participate in the Free School Lunch Program with supplemental nutrition over the weekends during the school year. Our 100% volunteer run program feeds over 475 Navarre children each week. It costs just $3.25/week to feed a child, which means we need over $1,550 each week just for the weekend bags we've become known for. Our program also delivers snacks to local schools to offset the costs our teachers were personally absorbing to provide snacks to students removing hunger concerns during the school days. In October 2018, we successfully launched a new personal finance curriculum into our middle school. All 6th grade students at Holley Navarre Middle school learned the foundations of personal finance setting this class of students and our community on the path to future financial success!
The funding for all our programs is fundraised and donated by individuals just like you! Thank you for your continued support!
